This is a targeted safety notice for the correct and safe use of men's belts (leather, textile, synthetic, elastic, with classic buckle/frame buckle, automatic "ratchet" lock, double ring, decorative elements, or magnetic fastening). As they may contain small parts, metal and magnetic elements, sharp buckle edges, and cause strong pressure around the waist, please follow the instructions below.

Basic Safety and Handling Principles

• Keep out of reach of children: Buckles, rivets, decorations, and magnets pose a choking hazard; the product is not a toy.
• Check before use: Inspect the buckle, lock, holes, seams, and edges of the belt; do not use a damaged or cracked belt.
• Pinching and scratching: Be careful to avoid pinching skin and catching clothing when fastening; avoid sharp buckle edges.
• Magnetic parts: Keep away from payment cards and sensitive electronics; persons with implanted devices should maintain a safe distance.
• Snagging and injuries: Do not wear belts with loose hanging ends/chains when working with machinery, on escalators, or during sports.

Proper and Safe Use

• Appropriate tightening: The belt must not restrict breathing or blood circulation; avoid prolonged strong tightening (especially wide and elastic models).
• Position and purpose: Wear with appropriate clothing; do not use as a towing/lifting aid, harness, or tool securing device unless designed for that purpose.
• Driving and seat belts: Heavy buckles may increase pressure; adjust so the buckle does not interfere with the seat belt.
• Activities: For manual work and sports, choose low-profile buckles without sharp edges or remove the belt.

Cleaning, Maintenance, and Storage

• Leather: Clean dry or with a slightly damp cloth; condition regularly; do not immerse in water or dry on a radiator.
• Textile/synthetic/elastic: Clean according to the label; avoid high temperatures and aggressive cleaners that damage elastane and glued joints.
• Metal parts: Wipe buckles dry after contact with salt water/sweat to prevent corrosion and staining of clothing.
• Storage: Hang or lay flat, away from direct sunlight and moisture; avoid sharp bending that causes cracks.

Specific Health Warnings

• Allergies and sensitive skin: Some metals (e.g., nickel), dyes, and leather agents may cause reactions; if redness or itching occurs, remove the belt.
• Pressure and abrasions: For back/abdominal pain, abrasions, or pressure marks, loosen the belt or switch to a softer/wider model.

Disposal

• Sorted waste: Separate metal buckles for metal recycling; hand over leather and textile parts to textile collection according to local regulations. Wrap magnets and sharp parts to prevent hazards.
